A Decisive Blow to Terrorism and Its Enablers Across the borders, it’s not just about an operation—but about a saga of compassion, courage, and commitment. I speak of Operation Sindoor —a shining chapter in the history of our great nation, born in the shadow of devastation, yet carried forward with the light of humanity and heroism. As PM Modi said, “We will defend our people, our land, and our values. And we will do so with all the power at our disposal.” We must continue to fight terrorism with every means at our disposal—through diplomacy, military action, and, most importantly, through unity and unwavering commitment to justice.Operation Sindoor is a manifestation of this commitment.
On May 7, 2025, the Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor, a strategic military operation targeting terrorist infrastructure across Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir. This operation was a direct retaliation for the Pahalgam attack, in which 26 innocent Hindus, were killed by militants affiliated with Pakistan-based terror groups. The strikes on the nine targets, four in Pakistan and five in POJK, were conducted between 01:05Am to 01:30AM on Wednesday. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has shown remarkable resolve in confronting the menace of terrorism. It was not only a response to the brutal killing of innocent lives but also a clear message to Pakistan and the world that India will no longer tolerate terrorism from across its borders. They left our women to go and tell the story of what happened that day, so we sent our women to tell them what we did to them. Two Indian women officers of the armed forces- Col. Sophiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh briefed entire India on Operation Sindoor. Over the course of 48 hours, Indian para-commandos executed precision strikes across multiple covert locations beyond the LoC. The operation was characterized by a high degree of coordination, stealth, and technological superiority, including the use of drones, satellite imagery, and night-vision enabled equipment. Nine targets were destroyed, resulting in significant disruption of planned terror operations.Targeted Locations: The Indian Air Force deployed Rafale jets armed with SCALP missiles and AASM Hammer bombs in a 23-minute operation, striking the following locations: Kotli, Muridke, Bahawalpur, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad, Bhimber, Chak Amru, Gulpur, Muridke (second strike). These sites were reportedly associated with terrorist groups such as Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
“Operation Sindoor was not a battle of guns—but a triumph of values. While some nations measured power in missiles and threats, India measured it in lives saved, hands held, and borders crossed not with tanks, but with trust. That is the strength of Bharat—a strength Pakistan could not match then, and still cannot“. This operation is a message that India cares. That India is capable. That when her people cry, Mother India doesn’t sleep—she marches. This operation is not just a military response—it is a testament to the resilience and strength of our nation. It is a clear message that those who perpetrate violence against India and its citizens will face the full might of the Indian Armed Forces.
जय हिंद जय भारत।।
