We Will Name Them — The Kaum That Asked for Religion Before Pulling the Trigger

Editorial

First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of those Hindu tourists who were brutally murdered in the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. These were ordinary people — travellers, families — on a peaceful journey into the mountains. What they were subjected to was nothing short of barbaric.

Let’s call it what it is — a narsanhar, a targeted massacre fueled by religious hatred. As per eyewitness accounts and ground reports, the attackers — radicalised members of a particular kaum — forced tourists to remove their pants in order to identify their religion. Some were allegedly asked to recite the Kalma, and when they couldn’t — they were shot without mercy.

What was their crime? That they were Hindu? That they didn’t belong to the kaum of the killers?

This was no “random violence.” This was a brutal religious test followed by execution. And yet, mainstream media outlets like NDTV, Lallantop, and others are actively avoiding this truth. They speak of “terror,” but carefully hide the fact that religion was asked before bullets were fired.

Why are they so afraid to state clearly that a particular kaum is behind these acts?
Why do they always hide the hate when the victims are Hindus?

This isn’t journalism. It’s narrative control. It’s appeasement in the face of bloodshed.

Kab tak manavta ke farzi chashme pehne rahenge hum?
How long will we pretend this is all equal, when one kaum keeps using religion to justify murder?

Campus Chronicle refuses to be silent.
We will name them. We will question the ideology. We will expose the kaum that believes it can decide who lives or dies based on faith.

Because silence now is permission for the next massacre.
And next time, it could be you.
