The AISA Politics of the Batla House Encounter :
It’s truly disheartening to see students from Jamia Millia Islamia who marked the 17th anniversary of the Batla House encounter with a march on September 19, demanding a judicial inquiry into the incident. The protest, led by the All India Students’ Association (AISA)use a national tragedy for their own agenda. Every year on September 19, we’re reminded of the brave Inspector Mohan Chandra Sharma, who gave his life for our country during the Batla House encounter . But instead of honoring his sacrifice, certain groups, like AISA, use this date to demand a judicial inquiry, claiming it was a case of injustice. You have to wonder, what’s the real motive here?
Radicalization and Propaganda :
The audacity is what gets me. While they protest and march, calling it “Insaaf Mashaal Juloos,” they seem to have no sympathy for Inspector Sharma. They’re quick to show sympathy for the two terrorists, Ariz Khan and Shahzad Ahmed, who were killed in the encounter. They use this incident to spread what can only be called fake propaganda, trying to radicalize the Muslim community by saying they’re being unfairly targeted.
Constitutional Rights as a Weapon :
It’s a real shame to see this kind of pseudo-secularism used against our own nation. It’s a habit of these so-called human rights activists and liberals to portray terrorists as victims and use their “personal rights as a weapon against the nation”.Let’s not forget how they tried to prove that the Delhi riot protestors were innocent, calling them “political prisoners”. And it’s not just a few people. We must remember that people like Ashif Iqbal Tannha from Jamia Millia Islamia and Sharjeel Imam were also accused of being involved in the CAA-NRC protests and the Delhi riots . Sharjeel Imam was even accused of making a statement about separating the Northeast from the rest of the nation.Isn’t this affecting the very core of our constitution? Isn’t it making our country unstable? It’s time we stop letting these groups use our own laws and freedoms to work against us. Our nation’s stability and integrity should always come first.
